Friendship at Home’s 2023 Sunflower Competition Winner

Friendship at Home’s Sunflower Growing Competition 2023 was won by Mary Johnson, with a whopping Sunflower 7ft 4 inches tall (2 metres 52cm). We’ll be planting out seeds again from March 2024, so look out for sales of the seeds in clubs or call in at the Friendship at Home office to collect them.

Survey Results

We recently held a survey amongst our members who have been taking part in regular exercise sessions within their social club, with the aim being to encourage people to become healthier and stay active. We are pleased to see the results show that this has had a fantastic positive impact on our members.

A word from Julie Rigby

After a great deal of thought, I have decided to retire at the end of December 2022. Friendship at Home has been a huge part of my life for the last 16 years and I am so proud of what we have achieved and what the staff and volunteers do on a daily basis.
