Lyse is a qualified social worker, who has been working for Friendship at Home since 2006.
Lyse is responsible for providing day to day operational leadership and management of Friendship at Home,
ensuring it continues to become an even more vibrant, wider-reaching and effective organisation
for the benefit of older people. She also has previous experience in nursing care and counselling.
Lyse has been active in the voluntary sector for over 20 years volunteering for a
number of local organisations.

Julie has worked in the voluntary sector most of her working life including voluntary work and as
paid staff and has been working for Friendship at Home since 2006.
Her responsibilities include writing funding bids, securing quality marks and networking with other
organisations; developing Friendship at Home to become sustainable in the future.

Dawn provides short term befriending until a volunteer can be found to give long term
support. Dawn also assists members attend one of our many friendship clubs.
Dawn also oversees the running of the Monday Culture Club.
Dawn joined Friendship at Home in September 2017.

After undertaking a placement with us, Toni now is responsible for overseeing the Monday Bingo Club,
Tuesday Choir, Wednesday Social Club, Thursday Social Club and Virtual Groups.
Toni joined Friendship at Home in July 2014.

Dawn is our Member and Volunteer coordinator. She is responsible for the matching of
members and volunteers for the befriending scheme, volunteer recruitment,
and overseeing training, reviews and assessments.
Dawn joined Friendship at Home in March 2014.

Mandy is responsible for overseeing our most recent project that
supports people with Dementia and their family/carers. For the last 22 years Mandy has
worked across several domains of adult social care and qualified as a registered
social worker in 2015. Mandy has a passion for improving the lives of people with
Dementia and their carers so joined us at Friendship at Home in April 2017.

Clare assists Mandy on the new project that supports people with dementia and their carer’s.
Clare brings with her several years of experience working with older people in the community.
Clare is committed to improving the lives of people with Dementia
and joined Friendship at Home in April 2017.

Allister has recently joined the team to coincide with the launch of the communication App.

He is responsible for the implementation of the Friendship at Home (FaH) App, providing technical

assistance and resolution to FaH members and volunteers in the home and community.  He has

been involved for many years in the volunteering environment.
